Re: District Assembly, 2002

On May 18, 2002, the annual District Assembly will be held at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the first plenary session scheduled for 9:00 a.m. We will conclude the day at 2:00 p.m. A continental breakfast and lunch is included in the program cost.

The District Assembly is one of the major training seminars hosted by the District. It is an excellent opportunity for Club Officers, Directors and Members to expand their knowledge of existing Rotary programs and become familiar with new and continuing programs for 2002-2003. For example, we will be discussing the upcoming visit of R.I. President Bhichai Rattakul to the District on November 12, 2002. The Assembly is also an excellent chance to hear updates on 2001-2002 goals and objectives.

In order to coordinate numbers, I have enclosed the District Assembly registration form. The fee is $20 in advance or $25 at the door, per person. (The form is also available on the district website.) Please return one copy of the registration form per club, with your check for $20 per person. Checks should be made out to District #7150. Please mail the check and forms to Don Reese, DGE, Mohawk Valley Community College, 1101 Sherman Drive, Utica, NY 13501.

Please let me know if you have any questions. The district website does have a more detailed agenda on display.
