| The Chittenango Rotary Club, which received its charter May 5th, 1953, held a 50th year banquet Saturday, May 3rd, 2003 at Craftsman House, Fayetteville. |

Takahashi, a Rotary Youth Exchange student from Japan, holds a ham she
won Dec. 19 at a weekly meeting of her sponsoring Chittenango Rotary
Club. Haru, who is attending Chittenango High School, donated the ham
to the Sullivan Food Pantry in Chittenango, to help those in need during
the holidays.. Behind her are members of the high school's new chamber
orchestra, which gave its premier performance at that meeting just prior
to the weekly raffle. Money raised in the raffle will be used for Rotary
International's Eradicate Polio campaign.
