District 7150 Awards Selection & Program Criteria

Rotary International offers the following awards to recognize the efforts and contributions of Rotarians and Rotary clubs. Eligible nominators may submit nominations according to each award’s criteria and guidelines. Serving with the Committee Co-Chairs will be Governor Marlene Brown and all Assistant Governor’s. CLUB PRESIDENT’s, please apply for as many awards as you qualify for. Contact your AG or Governor Marlene if you have any questions. Download form of all awards.

All Clubs Eligible may submit: Several Clubs may be awarded. External Relations Best Cooperative Projects Award - This award recognizes clubs that conduct outstanding projects in cooperation w/ other local, national, or international organizations. District Governor awards from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit: Several Clubs may be awarded. Membership Development & Extension Award - This district-level certificate program recognizes membership growth in existing clubs, retention of current club members, and organization of new clubs. Districts that meet their membership goals are also recognized. District Governor awards from forms submitted. District Governor awards from form submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit: Several Clubs may be awarded. Newsletter/Public Relations Award - Recognizes clubs for outstanding media campaigns that improve Rotary’s public image. District Governor awards from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit: Several Clubs may be awarded. Significant Achievement Award - Recognizes clubs for outstanding community service projects. District Governor awards from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit: One (1) Club awarded - Exemplary Service Award: To the club whose record of services throughout the year sets an exemplary standard and provides a model of excellence for other clubs. Must earn the RI Presidential Citation: At least one exemplary service project must be started, completed, or on-going during Rotary year; Must have achieved all or nearly all the clubs Goals & Objectives for this Rotary Year. All Clubs Eligible may submit: One (1) Club awarded - Community Award: For that club whose program of service made a significant impact on its local community or another community within the USA, fulfilling the ideals of the Object of Rotary’s third element: application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to personal, business, community life. District Governor/Awards Committee award from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit: One (1) Club awarded - International Service: For that club whose program has made the most significant impact on at least one community beyond USA borders in support of Object of Rotary’s forth element: advancement of international understanding, goodwill and professional leaders united in the ideal of service. All Clubs Eligible may submit: One (1) Club awarded - Vocational Service: For that club whose program of service has best forwarded the ideal represented by the second element in the Object of Rotary: recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations: the dignifying by all Rotarians of their occupations as opportunities to serve society. All Clubs Eligible may submit: One (1) Club awarded - Club Service: For that club whose success in building membership & developing enthusiasm for Rotary among its members best fulfills the ideals of Object of Rotary’s first element: development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service. Attendance and membership results are key areas. District Governor & Awards Committee award from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit: One (1) Club awarded - The District 7150 Award for Innovation: Presented to the club which had implemented a new service project within the last three years which is judged to represent a novel and effective idea either in the world of Rotary itself or within our local district. District Governor & Awards Committee award from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit: One (1) Club awarded - The District 7150 Communication Award: Presented to the club, which has created and maintained the most innovative and effective communication medium during the Rotary year. District Governor & Awards Committee award from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit - Several Clubs may be awarded. Recognition of Smaller Club Membership Growth This district-level award offers an incentive to clubs that fall below the required charter number of 20 members by recognizing challenges/achievements of small clubs. District Governor awards from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit - Several Clubs may be awarded. Presidential Citation: This award is given to those Club in the District who have a net of one new member during the Rotary year, and accomplished one activity in each of the areas listed. District Governor awards from forms submitted.

All Clubs Eligible may submit - Several Clubs may be awarded. Rotaract & Interact Presidential Citation: award is given to those Rotaract and/or Interact Clubs in the District who have met the criteria established. District Governor awards from forms submitted.

All Rotarians Eligible may submit Several may be awarded. Service Above Self Award: Given to Rotarians who meet the criteria. District Governor awards from forms submitted.

All Rotarians Eligible may be considered - Several may be awarded. Four Avenues of Service Award: Given to Clubs who meet the criteria. Clubs award themselves to deserving Rotarians. Download form
