Set volunteer projects Herkimer Rotary Club accomplishes every year:
*Route 28 road cleanup one mile east and west of the Parking area between Herkimer and Middleville Adopt a highway program
*Clean Fort Herkimer Church every November for the Thanksgiving service
*Festival of Lights, Masonic Home in Utica (RCIL fundraiser)
*Salvation Army Bell Ringing
*Exchange Student Program, Sponsor Incoming and Outgoing students

Tony Vennera, outgoing President for 2009-10 is presented with a diamond studded Rotary pin by incoming President, Fred Northrup. Thanks Tony, for a great year and best wishes to Fred for a successful 2010-11 year as president.


9-07-10 The newest Herkimer Rotary exchange student, Maximillian Koenig from Germany joined host family members Mindy Berstein and Tom Davenport and Club President Fred Northrup at the August 24th lunch meeting. Max will be staying in Ilion with Mindy and Tom while attending Ilion Senior High School. Max is looking forward to playing football for the Ilion Golden Boomers this fall.

The 2008-09 recipient of the Paul Harris Award went to Frank Green an active member of the Herkimer Rotary Club for 10 years.
