Top 10 Reasons to Attend PETS
10. I’ve never stayed at the Binghamton Regency before
9. To get out of doing chores at home
8. To see if everyone else sings as badly as my club
7. I want to be the first in my club to know what color the Governor’s Jacket is
6. Because my club president said I had to
5. To make the Governor-Elect happy
4. I attended last year and thought ahhhhh what the ………..
3. To meet my peers from other districts, and to share ideas and projects
2. To learn what’s new in the world of Rotary
1. I wanted to make sure I was well
trained so I could lead my club through another excellent year

D7150 DGE Carol's memo: "We are asking each President Elect to write down the top fund raising project(s) their club has ever done. Please include all details of how the fundraiser was done: a description of the fundraiser, the expenses, the net profit for the club, how many members of the club were involved, the chairperson(s) role. We would then ask each club to bring copies of it to PETS to share with each district. (Our PETS will have 4 districts there, a total of 205 clubs represented by our President Elects). Last year, District 7120 did this and the total money being raised within the district was astonishing! Rotarians have the ability of making “big” money, and the sharing of ideas, etc., would definitely help the smaller clubs, perhaps even joining two or three clubs together for one big fundraiser. This would provide incentive and encouragement for all of our clubs".

To serve as 2006-07 President, attendance at a 2006 PETS is mandatory unless excused by the District Governor, and a substitute attends from your Club.

Club Size Break Outs were based on Club Membership on March 1 with Rotary International. Each Club Size Break Out consisted of 26 Clubs of similar memberships.

The Club Size topics will be:
1) Membership
2) Fund Raising
3) The Foundation

Clubs shared their successes in these areas during their Club Size Sessions.

Why do we attend PETS: "Rotarians are not paid in cash but the payment for Rotarians time as Club President, AG, DG, and TRF is the satisfaction that comes from doing the job to the best of our abilities and seeing the results in the betterment of those who are not as fortunate as we are. PETS gives us the tools to help us do this successfully."
