District Team Training Seminar

On March 6th we will have our District Team Training Seminar. Coffee and donuts will be ready for you at 8 AM and the training will be from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM. There will be two training tracks, one for Assistant Governors and the other for District Committee Chairs.

Our Team training will be held at the brand new Skyline Conference Center in Highland Forest County Park. You may download the Agenda.

Directions can be found on their web site. Here's a pdf map of directions. And here are written directions from PDG Ward & DGE Jim:
From Cazenovia -
South on Route 13 out of Cazenovia, to Route 80 (approximately 5.5 miles) West on Route 80 through West Woodstock and just past Gooseville Corners (4-way stop), you’ll find it on the left (aproximately 2 miles west of junction of 30/30) It’s well marked on your Left. Enter the entrance, and the Conference Center is about 1/2 mile into the forest.
From Hwy 81 -
Exit at Tully Exit (Exit 14), Take Route 80 East through Tully, Fabius and Vencent Corners, for approximately 10 to 11 miles.
It’s well marked on your Right. Enter the entrance, and the Conference Center is about 1/2 mile into the forest.

We have a special Prime Rib Luncheon planned and your cost for this event is $FREE$. You are welcome to mix a little business with pleasure and stay for an afterglow of winter activities. Bring your cross-country skis, snow shoes or dress warm and rent a pair to try some of Highlands many trails. Maybe you will want to relax and let a horse drawn sleigh take you on a tour. You will be the first to be introduced to our Centennial Theme

It will be our goal at this training seminar to establish roles and responsibilities for Assistant Governors and introduce the resources available to implement them. For Committee chairs, we will also focus on roles and responsibilities and help you work on ways to integrate your committees with the clubs. Please RSVP ASAP to Ward Vuillemot. If you are a committee chair and can not attend, delegate a sub chair of your committee to fill your spot at this event and let Ward know who that will be. - DGE Jim Austin
