Paul Scott (PJ) recently retired
as the Editor and Publisher of The Palladium-Times, Oswego, New
York. He held similar positions in Michigan and New York. Previously
he worked as Overseas Product Manager and Industrial Engineer
Oneida Ltd., in Canada, Northern Ireland, England, Japan, Korea,
Taiwan and Hong Kong.
PJ attended Canton ATI, St Lawrence
University and Syracuse University and served in the United States
Air Force. He joined Oswego NY Rotary in 2003 and is currently
a member of the Eastwood (Syracuse, NY) Rotary. PJ and his wife,
Gladys are Major Donors to The Rotary Foundation and are Bequest
Society members.
PJ was Club President in 2006-07
and will be D-7150 District Governor in 2010-11. He serves as
the District Information Chair for The Rotary Foundation and serves
as the District Chair for Rotary Leadership Institute. He was
instrumental in forming the districts first Rotaract Club at SUNY
Oswego.
Locally, he serves on the executive
board of the United Way of Greater Oswego County and is a member
of Central NY PGA.
PJ and Gladys have two daughters,
a son and three granddaughters. Lindsey a graduate of SUNY Oswego
and the University of Rochester, NY (MFA) is employed with Grand
Circle Travel, Boston MA; Andrea a graduate of Clemson University
is employed with Orange County (FL) Board of Education (Andrea
and her husband Mark Austing, live in Orlando FL); and Paul (PJ)
a graduate of the University of Rochester as is his wife, Stacey,
is employed by Anthem BCBS, Denver CO (PJ and Stacey and their
daughters Natalie, Cammie and Jenna live in Highlands Ranch, CO).
