Governor's Message
Herb Jerry

.... As we enter the new Rotary year with new Club, District and International officers, it causes one to think of the wonder of Rotary. Where else in the world can such a turnover in leaders take place with virtually no disruption in the organization? I can't think of any.

.... Rotary is a unique organization. Its motto of "Service Above Self" tells the whole story. We are a volunteer organization and as such we are in Rotary because we want to be. No one has forced us to join nor to do the work of Rotary. Yet we do it happily.

.... Why? Simply because we care. To continue the work of Rotary we need new life blood, continually. That is why we are always looking for new members. Someone, at some time invited you to join this organization we call Rotary.

.... Why not do someone you know the same favor? Invite a friend, business acquaintance, neighbor or family member to share the greatness of Rotary. Don't be selfish. Spread the wealth to others.
