Mohawk Valley History Diorama's & Space Program

Looking for a unique place to have on off-site meeting? Marlene Brown, Executive Director of the Children's Museum in Utica, NY gives a tour and shares the unique history of the only children's museum in Central NY, and the only museum in the nation to be adopted by both NASA and the Dept. of Energy's Office of Science. The Museum's History Diorama's tell the story of the Mohawk Valley's greatness from the Iroquois, through the pioneer days to the days when our region was the hub of commerce, industry, transportation and communication whose example led to the expansion of country and the establishment of an American Empire. It is a miniature models multimedia exhibit enjoyed by children and adults alike. Also included will a tour of the 4th floor's space exhibits.

Meet the Maestro of the Utica Symphony Orchestra

 

The Utica Symphony Orchestra has a great opportunity for you to consider. Your members can "Meet the Maestro" and hear all about the current and upcoming Utica Symphony seasons. It’s a terrific chance to ask Music Director Charles Schneider all those burning questions you’ve saved up about music and the Symphony. Chuck has a knack for making classical music accessible to audiences. His background as a conductor, composer and performer spans a variety of genres, from Broadway musical theater to jazz to traditional and contemporary classical compositions. Business, Rotary, and Gift of Life in China

Don Schlueter, who has lived and done business in China, has three different and fascinating topics, 1.) business in China, 2.) Rotary in China and 3.) Gift of Life in China. In June 1996, a group of Rotarians and other interested parties who were based in Beijing held their first fellowship meeting. This group was later called the Beijing Fellowship Group (BFG) of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong. The BFG has over forty members from some twenty countries and every continent on earth, except Africa.

Classic Car Slide Show

A classic car historian specializing in the MG, Geoff published various books on the subject, is a National AACA Judge, writes regular feature articles for both American and European Motor Magazines. His presentation features his Classic Car slides.

Geoff also has another intriguing presentation on Africa and his time spent there with the Wild Life Foundation.
