Rotary District 7150 is located in the central region of New York State, at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains to the north and the Finger Lake region to the west. It encompasses several major cities including Auburn, Utica and Syracuse. This prime location has opened the door to its place in history with Revolutionary War sites, an international mix of immigrants and major industry locating within its boundaries. Martin Marietta Corporation, an Air Force C4I Research Laboratory, the Masonic Cancer and Heart Research Laboratory, Carrier Corporation, Bristol-Myers Laboratories are all here to name a few. The area is home to Syracuse University, Hamilton College, Colgate University, the State University of New York College of Technology, Wells College, and several other higher education schools. |
